Yes it can, ignore the naysayers. Fuse rating is 13A, aka normal BS plug rating. As long as it is a fused plug it meets all regs.

I've noticed b&q knocking out a few good bits of smeg in the past few months.
I'd be tempted with this if we didn't have a fitted double oven.
