Have to agree. Had for my eldest. I loved the look but wasn't practical. Very heavy and the travel system is bulky. Planned to sell and get something better for second child but the spring broke in the folding mechanism so had to throw it out. Wouldn't recommend x

I bought this from mothercare for £350 reduced from £500 2 years ago, my daughter is small and I used the carycot until she was 9 months, she has only just grew out of the car seat at 14 months. And I still use the pram all the time. I really like it, although it is very difficult to fold up, you need someone to hold baby while you do it. Other than that I was very happy with this system.

also resale value terrible as nobody wants them. bought mine for 300 sold after a few weeks in as new condition for 50. The car seat is good although very heavy compared to a maxi cosy so bad for your back

I want to echo the 'heavy' comments. Just using it as a pushchair (without the car seat) it weighs in at over 12 kg. Getting it in and out of the car is really awkward and I have twinged my back a few times.
We ordered a new stroller from Mothercare today that is less than half the weight. When it comes, this thing we call 'optimus pram' (because it transforms) will go on free cycle

The mamas and papa's sola2 pram listed yesterday is a much better pram - and deal. I've had them both!

BabiesRUs are doing the same price as well, had a look at my local store this Saturday and didn't like it that much - even though its SilverCross it felt quite flimsy to me.
