This is one of Shepherd Neame's seasonal offerings - quite light, but still distinctively hoppy. I know it's sold in many, if not all, branches of Lidl; I don't know if this price is nationwide, but it's worth a look if you're shopping there.

Rudolph the reindeer's reward is a bad case of ascities and esophageal varices after many years of heavy drinking but at such a low abv this drink is unlikely to do much more damage to poor Rudolph. Maybe Rudolph would be better off eating some grass.. maybe occasionally instead to take the pressure off his battered liver as is his right as a reindeer.. :smiley:

To be honest I find that all Shepherd Neame ales taste pretty much the same, there are always 'seasonal' SN ales in lidl and whether it's Master Brew, Up And Under, Tipping The Admiral, they all taste like a barely detectable variation on Spitfire...

Yup, all seem indistinguishable aside from the labels. Not knocking the price. 79p is good.
