ring halfords branch even after click and collect as I drove to pick up and they had none in stock. Wasted journey, monkey on desk "computer says no..."

That's par for the course at Halfords - absolutely hopeless. Totally disinterested staff in mine too. If staff reflect the culture of the company then it must be an awful place to work!

Got an Seta S1 the other day for £15 (£24.99 a week ago). They're both flat saddles, the S1 being slightly wider & lighter. Looks more like a road saddle but chucked mine on the ATB. The standard Seta looks great for £10 and may pop back & get one. The Suez one is more anatomical (has open centre) but hasn't dropped in price as much as these ones.
