It ain't a fast drive if it doesn't advertise write speed.

I have a couple of the 64gb version and get upto the specified 150mb/s read & 60mb/s write speed. Not bad I think.

Been looking for a fully metal one, can anyone comment on the quality?

Main negative on reviews is that it gets hot. Some USB flash drives do, others don't. Will be interested to see how I find it. One on the way.

It arrived today, and has been plugged in for 15 minutes, and I've been shuttling files back and forwards from it. Yes, it's warm, some might say hot, but no more so than any other thin metal flash drive. Metal is a conductor, so the outer surface will always be warmer than an plastic flash USB stick. I don't think there's an issue, and the person who reckoned it might burn his house down, was maybe a wee bit over-reacting?

Been looking for a high storage USB stick. Can someone explains what makes this particular one a good deal? Lexar, Kingston and Samsung 128gb USB 3.0 all are the same price.

Hi, I've not used Lexar or Kingston, but in my opinion Samsung is just as good as the Sandisk. This sort of price for a 128gb USB3 is pretty decent
