Unnecessary IMHO, some newer PCs do have the right mounting and even if yours doesn't, I find these drives are so small and light they can be held in place just fine with some blutack, or are even fine laid on the bottom of the PC case as the sata and sata power cables are generally firm enough to stop it moving very much. As desktops are largely stationary anyway it doesn't much matter about the mounting. Of course, if you regularly move your PC you might want to mount it more securely, but if that's the case you'd probably be better with a laptop...

My meaning was that it's not a lot more money for double the space. 120 is plenty if you take care. I use it as an OS drive with a 1Tb drive for data. But it wouldn't take a lot to fill up the 120.

120Gb is a bit too small really . Better to spend a little more and get the 240Gb. I bought the 120 in a previous offer and wish I'd gone for the bigger drive. no issues with performance, it's very fast.

Depends. If you already have a bigger conventional drive and it is a desktop then 120Gb is quite sufficient for the OS and applications. It will speed up your PC considerably and make boot times very much faster. Keep your data on the old hard disk. Gains from moving this to SSD will usually be too small to make much difference and old spinning iron is much the cheapest place to store data especially if you just keep on adding images, videos etc and never cull.
Horses for courses. Laptops don't usually give you the luxury of more than a one horse disk.

ye ok keep telling yourself that lol different matter business policy is everything to the rep of a company and your contribution to said company, n yes gyms are well known to con and bully into memberships, but you've made your personality very clear thx.
The point is of course to not have any memberships ye like everyone treated equal, don't you think ?
you know that's what we should all be striving for no?
it should be noted that there was a time in amazons history where everyone was treated the same and where everyone got the service that prime members now pay for, nothing changed in the service they provided they just started to bully the likes of Disney n such n get to full of themselves as such they feel they can do as they please including charging for a service they once provided for free.
They expand get more power n decide no were not going to pay taxes, yet every other british worker goes out works there A** off to pay bills mortgages and struggle to get by month to month, what happens when he (or she) doesn't pay his/her taxes?
yes there behaviour says a lot and I'm ashamed that it happens in the u.k,
they can keep that behaviour over there state side imho.
that's just my opinion you have your opinion so i'll leave it at that.

In that case, are gyms bullying people into buying membership to get cheaper access to the facilities? People are paying for a service which in this case comes with a set of benefits. If everyone got these benefits for free, what would be the point of the membership? The quality of the service and their tax habits are a different matter entirely...

whats wrong really? you don't see that it's segregation or effectively bulllying people into taking prime or there punished for it, wow what's wrong geez what kind of people even ask that question? also £80 a year for a service at best works 50% of the time, and given they don't pay there taxes and how they treat there staff, who have no job security being on rolling 6 month contracts? imagine living like that, ye no everythings fine with it sure, why not.

People that are still interested in quality rather than the compressed crap that streamers provide, see no point in buy £1000's worth of gear like TV's av receivers, speakers, then cheaping out with the inferior Netflix with there outrageous false advertising and don't say a 30mbps video looks the same as a streamed 5mbps video cause it's not even close unless you setup is poor, don't even get me started on the 384kbps audio lol vs dts hd ma at 4000kbps + or dolby atmos, surprises me people still allow themselves to be ripped off given that the info is easily available to them they still choose the cheap inferior product, it's like buying a good bottle of wine and chewing on the cork, but why listen to me? you cant be bothered to google the info or don't care enough to then you should limit your comments to something that doesn't make you look so foolish for investing in an vastly inferior product.
But wait this is the point were you condone it and say I see no difference or hear no difference right? in which case make an appointment with your doctor and inform him you'll be needing glasses and hearing aids for both ears.

Yes and amazon along with there other ideas like prime, that doesn't work, giving pref treatment to prime members, free post over £20 instead of £10 (which is why I no longer by my Blu-ray's from them) and various other crap, they have also discontinued tell us about a better price, so it's there own greedy non tax paying fault if they loose sales.

Amazon probably (possibly) won't pricematch cos its bots won't see the discount code, only the pre-discounted standard cost. This is typically why some suppliers don't show the discount in the standard cost, to remain competitive and avoid the auto-pricematching harvesting by competitors.

And most desktop PCs have a 3.5" bay somewhere you can mount this securely - but they're perfectly fine in a 5.25" bay, just screwed in on one side.

Yep, agreed. Can be just stuck on. Pretty sure they do come with a basic surround though to fit 2.5" bays.
Some cases have mounting holes in the bottom/side of the drive cage for 2.5 drives, so might be worth check that first.
