Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Mincemeat 411g is only 10p
Found in Witney store they had boxes of the stuff !
Should be national as price is 10p on website but sold out.
Best before is October so not the greatest of dates but still its 10p. Who doesn't want to make home made mince pies in July !

What's the actual meat content in these? Can I make burgers from these?:stuck_out_tongue:
As a foreigner, I find these the most confusing items I can find in a supermarket, especially around this time of the year - I can't believe there isn't a EU legislature banning this product labeling.

Probably doesn't contain any meat. It was invented in the 14th century in England and originally contained beef or beef fat. The labeling should not be banned as its part of British history.

Perhaps they could implement a piece of EU legislation banning the phrase 'European Market' because it ain't.
