Not saying they aren't good deals in JL, but you have to do a bit of quick googling or risk paying over the odds. Definitely not worth a special trip if you know what you want, the trusted internet retailers almost certainly have it covered.
I know the Asics aren't that cheap, even the reduced ones (edit: actually a couple are internet shop prices, so good, but the gt1000 4 are more expensive £60 than e.g. sportsshoes.com £55 if you can get free del - about the same if not ) ...
So I'd put this down as a useful to know deal rather than hot. Thanks for taking the time to post it OP.

Watch out for inflated starting price. Looked at Saucony Breakthru for example, £90 down to £50 yet a quick Google shows most places sell for £45

Not sure if its inflated. Most places have that R.R.P. just that a couple of places have it on offer?...

Only good looking ones seem to be the Nikes and they can all be picked up for cheaper in their outlets.

As others have said, despite the apparent discounts, if you google them they are usually cheaper elsewhere
By the way i'm not saying this is a terrible deal. Its a fair price for the products and some other retailers are selling them at higher prices. Just saying its best to shop around and not assume they are the cheapest because of the sale, as they are clearly cheaper elsewhere.

Ha haaa...damn...fair play! Even with the £4.50 delivery charge from Kitbag. And the better aftercare service you would get from John Lewis, it IS a cheaper deal. Fair do's cleverdick!?...:sunglasses:
Opening post
Couple of pairs normally retail for £100 but going half price!
Should all be free click and collect as over the £30 Minimum.
