Excellent price for a Roberts....quality built product at supermarket DAB prices, no brainer for anyone after a kitchen radio I think. If we did not already have a Pure Evoke-1S in the kitchen I would have snapped this up.
Good find, and heat added.

I have had one of these for years - it never gets used. Let me warn you it absolutely eats batteries. Even Energizer Ultimate Lithium or Eneloop Professional it doesn't last very long. I dislike the user interface as well. This is in stark constrast to the Pure ONE Mini Series II which is compact, can be used in the bathroom and the rechargeable battery lasts ages. I bought the Roberts mostly because of the name and pedigree but it was very disappointing. Mine has been relegated to the back of the wardrobe.

Had three of these from a High Street supplier. We had a repeating fault with the mains adapter which IMO has a design flaw as it puts too much pressure on the lead which then frays and breaks. Was replaced each time, within a few months and same problem occurred. Finally upgraded to a different Roberts model

I need it to be portable as I use it mostly in the bathroom. It never tolerated humidity at all though. Completely forgot about the mains charger. I think I left it in the box in the loft. I'll have to remember to get it next time I'm up there as I can use it in the garage.
