While Quorn is created by a form of bioprocessing, it does not have the carcinogenic and other negative health effects associated with foods that are regarded as 'processed' such as treated meats.
It's actually high in protein and fibre, and has a low saturated fat content which is why it is recommended clinically for patients with high LDLs (bad cholesterol) who are at risk of heart disease.

Use of the word "processed" to indicate a food is automatically bad for you makes about as much sense as saying food harvested on a full moon is bad for you.
That word seems to have found a place on HUKD to describe Quorn because they can't identify any real reasons why it might be bad for you, so easier to use some made up meaningless word instead.

Your opinion was not required, this website is to track deals not personal preference, this is one so heat from me.

Hot. As has been said, HUKD is a site to highlight good prices. Voting something 'cold' just because you don't like it (what is it about Veggie products that brings out the swivel-eyed, pitchfork-waving yokels?) is not what it's about.
