This deal goes around quite often but it seems to be back on again - 10 issues of the Radio Times delivered to you for £1. Sign up by Direct Debit and you can simply cancel the DD again through your own bank so it just wont renew after you've received the 10 issues - I've done this a few times without any problems at all.
Min £1.01 TCB available too

If the webform states that you've had too many trial subscriptions, simply tick the "this is a gift" box.

Better still go through TCB and get at least £1.01 cashback which covers the cost of the subscription.
Sherlock. Got halfway through the episode and stopped watching. Dreadful idea. The idea of present day was fantastic and worked. This idea ISN'T & DOESN'T.
Yeah I know its for Radio Times, but just reminded me. Voted hot, by way

Haha! I enjoyed it but I hope they don't do any more like that - a one off was fine though

I subscribe to the Radio Times and in normal circumstances I wouldn't consider cancelling my subscription each year just to avail myself of these sorts of deals. However , the way in which the cover prices creeps up appallingly each January will make me think twice in future. Here's the history-
Increase from £1.60 to £1.80 January 2014 = 12.5%
Increase from £1.80 to £2.00 January 2015 = 11.1%
Increase from £2.00 to £2.30 January 2016 = 15.0%
So from December 2013 to January 2016, a period of a little over two years, the cover price has increased by 70p or 43.75% from £1.60 to £2.30.
And, cynically, the increase is always actioned in the issue following the 2-week Christmas issue to make the increase less obvious....
Up until the 2014 increase, I always received two months emailed notice of the intended increase but RT have dispensed with this formality for the last two years....

Some good offers on there not just radio times. Five issues of countryfile magazine for a fiver. Saving at least £20.

If you get gardeners world £5 for five issues that should include the yearly 2 for 1 pass they give out in April. Hot for making me notice that (can't be bothered with going separate thread but won't be offended if someone does post that deal).

You may be able to use this code RTG5215A to give you 12 issues.
