There is a sum total of £4.52 (edit: for P&P and taxes) when ordering just one item. The total makes a purchase of one just £9.91.

import duty incurred? sales tax is local to the state the item is purchased within and in addition to import duty. EU does not incur import duty but this may if not shipped from amazon UK on behalf of amazon US

Thought I'd be clever and rather than waste money on shipping, get another couple to take me over the free delivery threshold... buy 5 (or 4) and sales tax gets added...
...and there's no free delivery outside the USA anyway...

On my 3 items I ordered stated shipping and handling of £6.59 then taxes to be paid 0.00 based on 3 items
