if it's the same that the one I've bought few months ago (looks exactly alike), you put the stone tray in the oven, then after pizza's ready you can use the metal handles (removable) to move it to the table or whatever.
For that price really hot for pizza lovers.

It's for cooking. You lift it out to place on the metal handles, so it's kept clear of the surface/table.
