If like me you were confused as to what the gameplay was like and the trailer on Google Play gave little clue, this video actually shows you the gameplay >
Cracking game. Quite unforgiving compared to most though.
If you're the sort that likes micromanaging resources (I am) and don't mind occasionally being stuck in a position where the game does not allow you to win then this is good fun.

Played the original and it's an absolutely cracking game. As mentioned earlier it can be quite unforgiving (it is a rogue-like after all) but I'd definitely recommend giving it a shot.
