Got two of these at about the same price a month ago, big improvement over a normal HDD.
My understanding is that these are now just rebadged Toshiba drives and the old OCZ problems don't apply, but still one died after about an hour of use (just long enough to install windows and transfer files onto it). The RMA replacement is working fine now but end of the day you get what you pay for.

I can't possibly recommend this SDD when there are Crucial and Samsung 240 GB units for very similar prices. Right now you can pick up a Crucial one for 49.99.

Except that this is just as good as a Crucial and samsung.

And your point is what exactly? Just because it's a brand you're not familiar with you just assume the Crucial deal is better? I have one of these installed on another laptop, and it performs just as good as any other Sandisk or Crucial SSD I've had.

Seems about the best price around at the moment for a 240GB SSD

There is a bit of ocean in the way so I expect that's a bit of a hindrance to the postman.
It's in the title
