This stuff is so easy to make on your own if you really like it, brings the price down to about 5p per carton like this.

Well looking on the back of one of these cartons I saw this:
Oat base (water, oats 10%), rapeseed oil, calcium, salt, vitamins (D2, riboflavin and B12). So though "I'm not paying £2+ for water + oats!".
There are recipes online, basically its just oats blended and civd then added to water. You can add salt for flavour. This goes for all the other new alternative milks like almond and other nutty ones (it's not pure squeezed nut juice :P which is their marketing ploy I guess), I forget what else there is but its pretty much always water with 10% mashed ingredient.

I've read recently that chocolate milk is a good post workout drink. Would that be the same for this too.

This is amazing and doesn't contain milk from another species which isn't meant for humans so bigger thumbs up for that reason too!

I use to like the 1litre choclate oat drink from cooltrader, especialy as they were 2 for £1, they seem to have discontinued them now.

I spent ages trying to work out what this ingredient 'civd' is. Then realised you probably mean 'sieved'.
