To be fair, I can't knock Pixel Electronics in the slightest. I purchased a New Nintendo 3DS off them around November time, and iirc it did actually state that it would take around 4 days, as it did. The item was dispatched via Royal Mail Special Delivery.
I believe their listings now state dispatched within 1 working day (or they did a few days back).

Mine arrived this morning, changed cover plates to a luigi one I got off amazon for £7.50, and got a sky3ds+ card to play free games. Love it! Starfox 64 brings back so many memories

Is the HOTJAN code one use per account only? ive used it once already. it lets me use the code and takes the money off but when i click place order it comes back saying please use a valid code.
I ordered a 2DS offer for GF b day from same store (Pixel via Play.com)
It came with a European plug and a Euro-English converter.
Obviously this is good for travelling to the continent, but as we live in England not so handy.
Is this safe? And is there any chance of this setting on fire?
And surely selling this in England it should have an English plug ?

Hi. I don't know for certain but I do know people buy European home consoles (Wii U, XB1, PS4) and I've never heard of any problems. I would assume it to be safe but I would check whether European plug sockets supply the same voltage as UK sockets? I'm not sure probably best you try Google for a better answer or post your question in the Ask section here
You can always buy a UK charger for it you can get them for £6.99. Jason

Thanks. Have emailed both play.com and the 3rd party seller.. Mainly expressing concern at the possibility of my house burning down (on account of the supplied continent to England adapter not carrying the CE or 'kite' or any other safety symbol marks) and also stating that it was very very small at the very bottom of item description in a few words that informed that it was a continental item with adapter.
Only had a reply from play (rakaten) so far, informing me that its not their problem and to email the Pix people. Not much help, I have done this already and they haven't replied!

Did you ask google if there's any danger in using an EU to UK adapter?
