I went into Lidl last week for the first time ever - the vegetables were awful - I wouldn't feed them to a gerbil that I'd taken a severe dislike to - cold.

I went in to Lidl TWO weeks ago and purchased a selection of their "weekly offer" vegetables
They're still in better condition than the vegetables that I purchased from Morrisons and Sainsbury's last week!
You must have just picked a bad week to visit your local Lidl - for the "first time ever"! :confused:

I agree, I buy lots of veg at Lidl and it is always really nice and fresh and they tend to stock more UK produced veg than the other supermarkets.
