The one in this deal looks like it has a massive bezel, whereas the Currys one looks much thinner.

I don't know why they make a 49" TV and only put 1 HDMI port

Because that's all that some people need. My TV is fed from a Home Cinema Amp that has 6 HDMi inputs, so I merely have one cable to the TV, all controlled from the AV amp.

1 HDMI lol what a silly spec how much does an extra port cost?
Ffs the old Hyundai screen from 2006 I bought (that still works) has 1 hdmi you'd think things have moved on since then & yes I get some people own AV amps but let's face it a majority of consumers don't.
If they've cut costs on the ports it makes you wonder where the other savings have come from....
Slightly bigger version available from currys pc world for the same money. Looked in store at one and even though it says 1 hdmi port, this actually 2. Still not an amazing number but better!

Thanks for that. What was the telly like in your opinion? I'm off to read some reviews; I always like to know how sd stuff looks- they don't show you that in the shops.
I've got a toshiba 37xv635d at the moment and it's slowly dying. I love the picture on it though.

I always find that shops rarely have content to bring the best out of their display TVs. Obviously it isn't quite as sharp and vivid as the 4k £1000+ TVs, but for the price it looked very good.
