Simple but effective in design.
The Night Vision is simple but effective in design. It ticks all the boxes for most commuting and recreational riders, keeping you warm, dry and visible in most conditions the UK's wonderful weather can throw at you.
Beyond the obvious reflectivity and breathable, waterproof materials used there are a few bonus features that make it stand out from the others. The fleece lined collar stops those could breezes getting down your back and reduces and stops abrasion from rough material on your neck. However the new Intergrated i-lume light is a great new feature to maximize viability even further.

This doesn't look cut so differently than the men's. Hmm....

Shame the yellow one is OOS - the reflective patches on this one will light you up like a Christmas tree at night, but in daylight you'd wan't some fluouro on.

Note - This is the 2013 version. I believe the shape/function hasn't changed much over the years since, (previous verions didn't include the Intergrated i-lume light ) so it will still do the job, but if looking at sizes/fit compared to a local bike shop, it might be slightly different.
I'm still riding in my 2011 (mens) version - and having been cared for ( washed properly in techwash typically every other month during winter and re-proofed yearly, it does the job.
There are more breathable jackets around, but not really at this price range!

What do you use to reproof it? I've washed mine a few times, and it's not as waterproof as it once was.

These are great value jackets. I have a the yellow version of this from about 2010, still using it most days as the fit is comfortable and it's still waterproof although I'm not sure for how much longer! These do measure up on the generous side so I wouldn't recommend getting any bigger size than you would for normal clothes. I've also got a more recent men's version which is definitely not as breathable and (for obvious reasons not as good a fit). Shame the yellow ones are out of stock but I'm willing to take a punt on the black version. Thanks OP!
