John West, the fisherman, was a real stickler for quality, believing that the best way to get hold of the best fish was to take care of the fishing himself. Following his proud example, we also have our own boats and we hand select our tuna for guaranteed quality, keeping true to the pioneering spirit of our founder. It means that our quality today is as consistent as it has always been and that we will continue to serve you the finest and tastiest wild tuna the oceans have to offer.

Super cheap in comparison to tesco and the other lot of supermarkets.
Does anyone know if they still have 72packs weetabix for £4?
Thanks.

Dirty, dirty fish. I'd never buy Tuna from John west or Princes.
Now I'm not a hippy or greenpeace activist but the way these two companies catch the fish and kill turtles, Dolphins and other fish is disgraceful.
Shop own brand pole and line is the way forward!

Only came in this deal to post almost exactly what you said.
Giving a crap about the environmental impact of our food etc doesn't make us 'hippies or activists' - the stigma is on those who don't care enough to look into it. Mass-produced palm oil is a prime example of what can be achieved when people 'vote with their feet' - increasingly retailers and producers are doing away with the use of it as their customers are telling them that they won't accept it any more.
That said, there are many people for whom this price means they can eat a few decent meals so I will vote hot for that reason alone (I realise HUKD is a site for sharing the lowest priced deals and not to debate social politics!)

They have the 36 pack of Weetabix for two pounds. As for the tuna, unbelievable price really. Hot for me.

John West/Princes tinned tuna - two of the worst brands for excess fluids in the tins - look at the drained weight and compare with the total weight - scandalous!
