I'd say a very simple rule of high street retail, if you don't display it you can't sell it. TWO copies of each game are 'gutted' for a very simple reason to tell the customer they have that game. EVERY retailer that stocks video games does the same thing. supermarkets, hmv they do it too.
thats what dummy sleeves are for, is that what you're gona say ? the problem with dummy sleeves is they often leave out important information. hardrive requirements, specs, languages etc. sometimes infos wrong on dummy sleeves too.
also bare in mind. companies like activision,ea etc don't send many sleeves for all titles. e.g like deadpool. so how can any company tell customers they have that game if they don't display it. Need for speed came out last november EA didn't produce enough dummy sleeves and many stores didn't have a way to display the game.
TRUST ME 75% of customers who come into a game shop, looking for a specific game will walk out if they don't see it on the shop floor.
AS for mishandling of discs...well every company hires morons...case in point, I presume you got a job.
oh and 'short term console market' lol.

Pretty much a wild goose chase actually finding a PC game in Game these days. They really can't be bothered. All the focus is on the short term console market. And do bear in mind Game staff have a factory seal opening fetish. Their reason given for opening your games for you was so forgettably weak I can't even recall but in addition to this do remember that they do love chucking your discs around the shop. I have witnessed this happen. They also like you to have a little memento of them on your discs by smudging them liberally with their pawprints.

since gta v launched there have been numerous free content add on packs.
lowriders, executives and other criminals, freemode events, ill gotten gains patrs 1 &2, last team standing, capture, sanandreas flight school, 'i'm not a hipster, highlife, beach bum, creator & heists.
each one of those includes a combination of 100's of new missions/jobs, 1000s of new items (clothing, hair, tattoos) 100s of new vehicles, loads of new weapons, loads of new properties, new gameplay mechanics (create jobs, build and run a criminal empire, emotion system) a new radio station.
you say heists were already there, thats not true, they announced the online and when heists were bought up it was immediatly stated they'd add it after the game launches. there's a reason it took over a year for them to add it. besides the fact remains thats the kind of added on content other companies would make you pay for. eg they showed off the giants map for cod, then afterwards revealed you had to pay extra for it.
the content they've added is far more content than most companies put in season passes (even rockstar themselves had season passes on la noire and red dead, so it's not as if rockstar give everything for free normally) the micro transactions does nothing but give people in game money quicker, and alot of people are lazy, which helps us get all this free stuff.
oh and as for your 'new jumper(of which you have to buy in game)' hissy fit you realise you always had to earn your stuff in gta. if you want that new rocket launcher you go to Ammunation and buy it with money you earned in missons.
as for your I bought this on 360 so it should be cheap bs. the current gen and pc version, has a first person mode (built from scratch) improved graphics and framerate, more players on multiplayer, 100s of new radio songs and banter. its a worthwhile investment, considering the previous gen release is still relatively expensive.

Absolutely. This works the same for Spain also: Games stores must have clear directions at this respect. Back in Spain I only accepted games sealed, if not they can keep it.

Would be even better if it was a stable game to play. Rather unstable!
