and.... the comment you just posted was left to aggravate these alleged "militants" - maybe you have a journey of introspection before, you, the pot, call the kettle, black
The majority of principled vegans/veggies aren't the aggressors on here, and rarely, if ever, leave comments on meat related threads. Which speaks volumes. Doesn't it.

It clearly says "meat-free" at the start......

How dare you post something so reasonable in a meat vs meat free debate?!
I once worked with a woman who was also angered by "fake meat". If you are against eating meat, she would say, why eat fake meat?
I tried to point out the obvious, but no luck.

It's about breaking away from the contrived social construct, because if you have been programmed since birth to accept meat products as being perfectly normal/ethical, then these products are baby steps (imo) away from the status quo.
Many vegans/veggies I know do not eat these sorts of foods.
Myself, I eat really basic stuff - fruit, vegetables, starches, pulses - all minimal to zero preparation.
It should be about ethics, that's the bottom line. Always. If one has a brain that works & a heart that bleeds. That is.

I've never come across Fry's before. Is this a Morrison's own label?

No, its a South African brand.
Morrisons have been selling it for a few months. I think they are the only UK supermarket selling it. Also available from Ocado, or some independent health food shops.
Great to have more vegan options anyway.

Holland and Barret also sell it though for over £3 if I'm remembering right

I've tried a few of Fry's products and they are all really good, definitely the best "fake meat" foodstuffs on the market and very reasonably priced. My local Mozzies doesn't stock them but I usually get them from H&B.

Terrific deal, i agree with JCVANSHAZAM that they are the best option of their type. I have tried the entire range and would recommend everything particularly the nuggets, pies and sausage rolls.

. How do they get away not falling foul of the trades discription act? Chicken nuggets? Steak? Why not call them what they are which is chicken replacement soya sub. Why can't I get meat shaped like vegetables but called parsnips. Rant over

Oh you asked for it now, the militants will be after you for that comment (borrowed from Viz?). I speak from bitter experience.
