Great price, in Morrisons they only have four items from the Frys range, and rarely have them in stock in my local ;(

I don't have a Morrisons anywhere near me. I do have a Holland and Barrett but they are more expensive than anywhere for almost everything!

not sure if this still works, but when I signed up I went to marketing communications, opted out and received an extra £5 voucher to opt back in. after you opt out and update settings go to the home page and it will be on the right hand side of the screen, it is not emailed to you. hope it still works

My steering wheel and gearshift were swapped from a lower model, so they're not leather. Nice try though.

Do you seriously consider yourself being clever? I can't tell if you're joking.. You're saying, if you can't avoid *any* meat derived products, then you shouldn't try to avoid any?... what?...why? Where is the logic in that?
I also can't save every starving child in the world, so I guess I shouldn't try and give any money to charity..
I really hope you're joking/trolling, and not monumentally retarded.

These may be vegan but they are not necessarily good for you. They're better than that Linda McCartney crap, but always read the ingredients and nutritional information!

I note these things have soya in them. Another thing to avoid if you're allergic to soya.

I'd guess soya was the main thing to avoid if allergic to soya.

It's processed food and it's not good for you. "It's just a meat-free alternative, not a healthy food" is their point, I believe.

Since when have sausages ever been a healthy option? These are a veggie range, not healthy. Love Cauldron sausages personally but will give this range a try whilst it's on offer! Ta

My second question would be, and what's wrong exactly with "processed" food?
The term "processed" has literally zero meaning to me, and I've spent vast amounts of time reading up on nutrition and healthy living.
tomwenn
25 Jan 16#29
It depends what processed food, really. To keep processed foods in an edible state, sodium and other preservatives may be added, and food that is not natural, grown out of the ground, will not be as good for you. Processed meats have been found to be carcinogenic, also. I term processed foods as anything that has been altered from it's natural state.
NitrousUK
25 Jan 161#30
In general, but there's lots of exceptions to those rules. Being processed or unnatural does not automatically mean it's bad for you, just the majority of the time something else is done during this time that makes it unhealthy.
tomwenn
25 Jan 16#31
True, but I think the poster was just making the point that just because that this is a vegan product, doesn't make it good for you. I don't think he was saying it was BAD for you, specifically, and just to check labels when you buy food.
Fred Smith

Clearly they are better for you than the same/similar products made from meat.

It's processed junk food but good to have occasionally or at least for me anyway. With this deal they're last me ages because the burgers are quite big.

Like I said before, "Processed" means nothing. It's a word used by people with no qualifications who write blogs and try to sound like they know what they're talking about. If there is something bad about this food, there will be a word which has meaning to describe it.
