Price on shelf label and item barcode scanned as £12.99, so should be a national price if in stock. Cheapest I've seen yet!

Very nice price, I'd take a punt on the game for that price.

It's this price in my local Sainsburies as well, and that place NEVER have deals on anything I see listed here, which would suggest to me this is Nationwide?
Since the game received quite heavy criticism I'm still unsure on this... Can anyone give me their opinion on it? I normally love Bethesda games (Skryim, Fallout, Oblivion etc) but since this seems to be a change in pace I don't really know what to expect...

I was quite disappointed, but i did pay a fair bit more than this for that dollar it's worth a chance you might like it.

I took part in the closed Beta on PC, and have played it on PC for about 18 months now. Recently bought it on Xbox One.
Initially, in my opinion, the game wasn't good. Lots of bugs, bots and exploits, and stupid decisions that made it almost impossible to play with friends (in a MMO...). I won't profess to be a long-time Bethesda fan, but I did fall deeply in love with Skyrim and playing TESO in closed Beta was heartbreaking.
Half a year after TESO went live and it was almost a different game. Zenimax really do listen to their playerbase and fixed a lot of the problems and nuances that everyone was complaining about.
Then it went buy 2 play with the promise of more content to be regularly added. So far we've had Imperial City and Orsinium, with a Thieves Guild dlc coming soon.
In my opinion the game's come a long way. There's a real focus on content, lore and having fun. Lots of MMOs around nowadays are just boring grinds to get to top level to access the decent content, but in TESO it's decent content all the way. You could do away of levelling and you'd probably not notice it.
I got TESO on Xbox One with the steel book from Zavvi, mainly because I wanted the steel book! But it works so well on console, which is a big surprise. I've actually not played it on PC since playing it on my Xbox. I think the only downside to playing on console is it's a bit finicky joining guilds and that sort of thing, although to be fair the game needs to do a lot of work on this part of its interface anyway.
This is the sort of game you can pick up for a few hours and then come back to it in a few weeks, without feeling lost, or feeling like you've got a big grind ahead of you. Turn it on, do some quests, jump into Cyrodiil and do some PvP, then pick some flowers and make some potions.

I bought it for PS4, nearly everything has been done better elsewhere, and the pvp is just a straight (inferior) rip of GW2 WvW, however I am not regretting the purchase, it's a nice gameworld to explore and can be quite engrossing (until XxCODSN1PERZXx starts Halo jumping on tables) at times, well worth this price. I bought it to spend a few hours exploring a new gameworld, so it serves its purpose for me.
