I can confirm it was the V6 animal and after discount I paid £223.20 after code ( DYSON 10 ) with delivery.
Looks like they have now sold out of this model and the only one I can see left is the standard model at £239.00.....

For anyone looking for one of these, its always worth giving the Dyson helpline 0800 298 0298 a call, saying you are an existing customer and asking what offers they have for it at the moment. Often its at a very competitive price and they will throw in an extra tool kit. I know I bought the DC58 a few months ago at an excellent price from them (cheaper than anywhere else!)
