first post...Direct flights to Florida for less than £400 return. Dates shown are 27th April to 11th May. from Manchester. works out slightly cheaper booking with Netflights. I've just booked the 27th April - 6th May for £380pp. brilliant price for Virgin flights.

Virgin nothing as good as they were after merging with DELTA. Better off keeping an eye open for a good deal from Thomson who fly to Florida with Dreamliner planes which are vastly superior to Virgins stock. You can typically get a price of under 300 for these dates nearer the date itself with Thomson

Thomson only fly to sanford, which is a.longer transfer/drive/taxi. then you have to add your luggage as their price is before any 'extras'. it works out more in the end. I agree better planes but not better price.

What price would you expect to pay in August?

Nothing like this price, I think you will be lucky to get £700 per adult likely closer to £1000 at the moment for economy, I've just spent around £3800 for direct out and PE back indirect from London.

I managed to fly into Daytona Beach last July for £400 each from Manchester with Virgin. Couldn't not book it at that price!

totally agree with you, I was so impressed with them and the Dreamliner and saved a lot of money, flying into Sanford was also much easier, quicker and far less crowded
