You can always chew the sockets if you're short of chewing gum.

these smaller sets have got out of trouble before. the smaller diamer bars and extensions are good for restricted areas.

Don't expect to be able open or close anything too tight - you get what you pay for.

Spanners and ratchet will be ok but the screwdriver and bits are naff. Spend a bit of money and get a proper kit. You don't need half the stuff here so spend another £10 or so and buy separates

Sterling advice there. Been using this (German) Wera bit set quite extensively for DIY over the last two years, even in my Ryobi screwdriver, and they look as good as new:
Brilliant. Just managed to get a set before I service my Bugatti Veyron.

Have heat, good price, but be warned I,ve had 2 ring spanners fail in my time (Sheard) and it hurt to say the least. If fact I was lucky only skin was missing. Halfords pro range pop up on here from time to time, there usually of a good standard, although cost more.

Heat. It's good for the household work. Recommend having one!!!

Sure it's a bit expensive, but these are built to last. A slightly cheaper but very solid option would also be this:
