Streets ahead of any other similar electric grill, we use ours the whole time, also very good for bacon, steaks, chicken breasts, etc. only thing I've not managed is to fry an egg - although does French toast well. Also very easy to keep clean.

These look so small. Do they fit two slices of Warburtons etc?

it states that it does hold 2 slices of bread, but they also do 3 and 4 slice sizes. the 3 slice model is available for £29 at argos I believe

Tempted. Are they actually good or would they lurk at the back of the cupboard for 6 months then go in the bin?

Can you really cook bacon, there doesn't appear to be a drip tray. Do the plates come odd for cleaning?

I've had this for a couple of years and I've cooked bacon on a it a few times. You can certainly do it but you're right, there is no drip tray. I usually put a load of kitchen roll down.

Got this for Christmas- lovely easy to clean item! So far used for toasties, wraps and panini which cooked quickly only think I personally would prefer is a grilled plate.

Love mine. I keep it on the counter rather than in a cupboard, and make quick and easy toastie - lovely cheese, ham and onion filled wrap for lunch. Easy to clean with a damp sponge while still warm too. Definitely not an unused kitchen item.
