Super heat for you. I've been looking for a toaster since Monday for less than £15. This is perfect as it's the right price and I have a Bosch kettle - Thanks so much, you are amazing

Cold for me. I just returned this toaster back because it was too small to toast average size of toast. The top of the toast wasn't toasted.

Perhaps you don't understand concept of voting? I think there's a user guide on here somewhere. Your issue regarding toast coverage should be directed to Bosch as it bears no relevance to the status of this deal. MAYBE, it was the bread you should have been returning?

Only the red is £14.50, black has gone back up to £29

If this has those electric 'bar' type elements... I'd buy something else! A cheaper one with wires in.
Our bosch [similar to this] can't toast properly to save it's life. Ice cold from me, sorry.

No, got it a few days ago and it's got just the normal, standard, thinner wire-type elements. It's simple, VERY basic-looking, but I've seriously never seen a toaster that looks beautiful at less than the crazy Dualit prices.
Anyway, you can pay £15 for this or £30 for some Russell Hobbs or other middle-of-the-road brand that performs the same and doesn't really look any more stylish, but will have some unnecessary chrome bits on it, your choice! I was looking for a new toaster for AGES but they were all around £25-£30 yet all the reviews showed that there was absolutely no clear, outstanding winner nor a selection of higher-performing model, it was ALL a sea of lackluster reviews, so whether you pay a lot or a little seems to make no difference.
This toasts reasonably evenly out of the box - in my experience, after some bedding in, some toasters get better still, and I really like the simple, but clever and useful little pop-up rack above the slots to warm buns or croissants or other toast slices, to take advantage of all that heat energy normally lost from the top.
TIP: If you are a super-scrimper, an eco-warrior or just hate unnecessary waste, you CAN actually toast an extra slice of bread on ANY toaster quite successfully by placing it straight onto the top, to cover the slots. It will take longer, so you'll only be doing one side for the time it takes to do two other full slices, but still, an extra slice for every 4, in a 2 people household is a decent bonus.
