I got these in black glass 2 yrs ago and they are still going strong! They are easy to wash too.

So beautiful that apparently Sainsburys couldn't sell them even at the original paltry price of two pounds sterling and twenty-five pennies each. Maybe if you wait long enough, they will pay someone to take them off their hands.
I threw out my glass place 'mats' long ago (thanks Tesco) for being as about as useful and practical as a chocolate teapot.
