Probably not the best in the world but cheap and handy for my missus for travel potentially and a cheap backup to her GHD's.
Heat from me, for £15 you can't really complain if they do a reasonable job

I've always used Babyliss straighteners and I find them great, I have naturally curly hair and they work perfectly for doing straight and curly styles. I personally don't see the need in spending a fortune on GHD's.

Only 200°c, not sure that would cut it (or burn it) according to my female co-habitants.
Ideally a minimum of 230°c is desired.
I've no idea, only thing I have to straighten are pubes but then that's too close for comfort.

Anyone know if these are any good for long and curly hair? Just need something that's a good alternative to my GHD's that I can use when I'm traveling.

these are great and compact but definitely nowhere near as good as ghds. they don't get as hot so even my fairly straight hair needed 2 attempts. suit me for travelling at this price though!
