This isn't the A40 or A50, but this to me seems like a great deal. Ordered it personally before the bank holiday. Astro themselves want £170 for it, so I imagine it must be a very decent option, especially at the price.
It is a wired headset and I did want a wireless option but you do get 7.1 sound with the Mixamp.

anybody got this ?? how would this work with a xb1
From the Game description and other web pages it sounds like you need a chat adaptor for the Xbox One. PS4 works without this extra cost.

Worth it for the amp and cables alone. Not sure, but think you could do away with adapter on the newer xbox1 controller and just plug it in directly to controller.

You can plug them into the new xbox one controller, but you need a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. The input on the mixamp is 2.5mm not 3.5mm.

Bought the A50's highly recommend them if your serious about your gaming sound. These are great also.

Got the a40 and mix amp and they do work on new Xbox one controller just old model that they don't with out the adapter . Also the sound quality is very good but not used the a30 but I'm sure they are just as good.

I have this and 2 ish years on its still good. Used on Mac with digital, PS3 and ps4
