I eat the no sugar one every day. One of the healthiest muesli I have found. And yes, they're both on special at the moment. Enjoy!

Yep, a massive 2.8g difference per serve and a whole single calorie!

The Lidl version is better, IMO. It contains more oats, nuts & fruit. It also beats Alpen nutritionally on pretty much every level. Oh, and you don't lose out on 190g of cereal by choosing the no added sugar version!
Heat though. This is a great price for those who have to have Alpen.

Thanks, I'm gonna give it a go next time I'm in Lidl. Always open to new muesli.

***ak1985mufc*** Many thanks for that, I have a 75p token for Alpen so will use it quick

Agree with dunno, I prefer the Lidl version. Found even the Alpen unsweetened version was too sweet.

I bought a box of the no added sugar version when it was on offer at Waitrose I was.very disappointed as everything is ground up finely. The Aldi version of these are far superior and sells for a lot less.

I agree, Alpen has become very 'dusty' of late, then again, it's now almost always on offer where as in the past discounted Alpen was very rare.......

2.8g out of 45g is quite a lot really! and empty calories verses 'good' calories.
plus, who actually only eats the recommended serving size?!

A good offer, but again not at the main branch in South Warwickshire where I live. Shame on them
