Might just be a one off but I ordered some similar adidas trainers from these guys at a great price. They turned up in a damaged box held together by brown tape and creases in the leather along the side of one of the trainers. They were probably cheap for a reason!

FYI have these and they are narrower than the other two sambas I've got. don't like em.
