Great price. If I could I would book. I went to Cuba in June and it was fine! think we had a 45min torrential downpour one day out of the 14. It was perfect. although I as nearby I didn't stay at this hotel but if I didn't have the kids I'd be booking this in a heartbeat!

Wouldn't go back to Cuba until the yanks pump a load of money in as years of sanctions has left the place absolutely crippled. stick to the other Carribean islands

I couldn't Disagree more! Cuba is a place of it's own, hence the reason you want to go there...

Sounds like you are looking for high rise hotels and fast food chains like the Mexican resorts. Whatever happened to the beauty of authentic and untouched

Perhaps you shouldn't have gone in the first place and stuck with your Yankee friends. It was the yanks that ruined Cuba in the first place and if they get back in again that would finish a unique culture. Keep yanks out of Cuba!

Went last year, beautiful place and lovely people, worth straying away from the hotel and discovering the real Cubans, good people

I'd suggest visiting before the American influences turn it into another generic Caribbean island. The beaches are on a par with anywhere else and Havana is a great place to visit and has such a unique look that unfortunately is likely to change drastically in the next few years. Cuba has a higher literacy rate than the USA and a lower infant mortality rate. Makes you wonder what they could have achieved without the sanctions.

Hurricanes in the Caribbean tend to be August/September. June is a great time to go

So as stated, the deal is asking you to take kids out of school. Any HUKD deals out there for reduced school fines?

Cheaper than what we paid June 2015, so defo Heat frm me, just remember it might not be everyones cup of T
As it's a very poor country (until the good old Americans get their greedy hands on it, as long as they don't change Cuba completely tho, people there do want change and to have what we have here, but not Americanised,
Also tips at the ready, everyone is looking for tips, and i mean everyone, which as a Scotsman i didn't have a prob, not all Scottish ppl are tight ****, and also any holiday clothes you don't want to take back home with you give the Hotel Staff or local ppl them as we were asked by them many times, which we obliged generously, clothes shops etc...non-existing over there as expected due the US embargo against Cuba
ps. it is totally safe to walkabout outside your Hotel, and the ppl are so friendly, so enjoy ppl if you've booked up, and the Cigars are a must (cheaper in the hotel cigar lounge, no tax, so don't buy out the private Gov shops, if there's one in your hotel or pay for the day out at the Cigar factory unless you just want to see how they are rolled with the different leaves, stick with the Cigar Lounge for smoking or for stocking up to take home, and enjoy with a few Brandies :sunglasses: Soz troops went on a bit there but just trying to give you's a wee bit of info Zzzz!!!

Don't go if you're trying for a baby! The Zika virus is spreading like wildfire down there and the weather won't help with the mosquitos
