it's only 12v so can be only used in car , it is better to get a 13v & 240v one so they cooled down correct temperature in your house before you put your food in. then when transferred to car the 13v helps to maintain cool temperature.

Agreed. My dual 12v/230v cool box takes ages to chill down when on 12v supply but is much quicker on 230v.
My advice would also be to pre-cool it, perhaps using ice packs or bottles of cold water, and/or pre-cool what you're putting in it before use. On 12v it will keep cool things cool but won't cool anything down quickly, especially things like bottles of pop or beer which have a high specific heat.
One should also be aware that these cooler boxes work by maintaining a temperature difference. So if you put this in a vehicle which is hot, the inside of the box will still be relatively warm. And the heat the cool box removed from inside itself has to go somewhere, and that somewhere is the environment it's in. So it is, of course, making the vehicle itself slightly warmer as well.
It's a great bit of kit, and a really good size to fit between the seats in a van.
Great for van/truck/long distance drivers and great for transporting frozen food. Not huge but perfect for front of vehicle.
Make sure it's not left on if the ignition is off and your 12v does not auto turn off as it will hammer your battery.
Evidence: check reviews on Argos, all that's needed!
Heat and reserved another!

Wait until the Sainsbury takeover is complete then you can order your frozen food in one at the same time.

this is a much better deal, the argos one is made of.polystyrene. http://m.gooutdoors.co.uk/outwell-ecocool-box-24ltr-12v-p317168
also het yourself a 240v to 12v transformer if you are using it for camping so you can connect it 240v socket. This cool box is £30 quid

the ecocool coolbox can also keep food hot. also another tip. Remember this is a cool box, items need to be put in cold to be kelt at that temp. It is not a fridge.
