If you use the 'HAVE6' £6 off code, you'll likely not get any cashback...... mine was declined recently.
Although i have raised a claim for it, if it still gets declined then it'll be the last business Rutland get from me.

Jeez, you act like it's Rutland's duty to make sure you can take advantage of every single offer. Quidco explicitly state that if you use codes your cashback can be declined, you've got no-one to blame but yourself.
Good price for a full carbon framed bike, though I wouldn't be keen on a Sora groupset myself.

Needs to be cheaper to be scorching. Doubt there are any better deals out there for this spec but you can get aluminium framed bikes with better components that weigh less for this kind of money. Voted hot though as there doesn't seem to be any carbon framed bikes in this price range.

Not just about weight though is it when you're only talking grams. The ride comfort on this would probably blow the aluminium frame out of the water

Sod em, i get fed up with cashback being declined.....
This site is about getting the best deal possible, other companies give discount codes & cashback, so i dont see why Rutland shouldn't.

It's not all about the carbon. There are various grades of carbon and this is a perfect example of cheap (heavy) carbon being put on a bike just to be able to call it carbon. Here's a better (non-carbon) bike at a slightly lower price and which will hold its value much better:
Voted hot, but have to agree, carbon on an entry-level road bike is more of a nuisance than a desirable feature. It's just as heavy as alloy, but more fragile. And chances are, a basic frame like this will not be stiffer or handle any better than aluminium alloy frame.
Giant Defy 3 is a far better buy: http://www.rutlandcycling.com/284977/products/2015-giant-defy-3-road-bike-blue-white.aspx

Good buy if you want to try carbon. No idea what the difference would be in ride from aluminium and weight isn't much lower .

Generally carbon frames takes a little bit more of road buzz out of the ride and the frame can be stiffer (depending on the quality/layup of the carbon and also the quality of the aluminium bike you are comparing against). People generally think the primary advantage of a Carbon frame is weight, which is often only a small and secondary benefit.
This assumes a similar price point, but if you start comparing a £400 carbon bike against a Cannondale CAAD cost 4 times then this is no longer true.
A carbon frame can also be badly made and very far from stiff (as was the case with my mates Chinese Pinarello knockoff - it was dreadful).
