Are you being serious? A scam.... lol. This is the most retarded thing I've heard on this site. If you don't need anything then don't buy anything. They are offering £10 off a £50 spend it's as simple as that. They're not saying spend your money or they'll take your legs. People will always spend unnecessarily when offers like this come out. But to say it's a scam... lmao

i pre-ordered uncharted 4 and some sweets using this deal. i've checked today and i've been charged the full amount. i believe quite a few people pre-ordered UC4 using this method. Has anyone else not had the code honoured? only thing i can think of is the the pre-order price promise has taken the total order value below £50 so voucher not valid.

Sorry only just saw your question today
I ordered the M8 with free wireless touchpad, as you say 4gb ram box would be lovely but you pay a few pennies more for one :smirk:
Well, I have foolishly kept no notes of what I have tried. When I first began to enjoy whisky I thought it was ridiculously pretentious to make notes. Now I realise I can't remember what I have tried and what they were like, so only now (when it's too late) do I understand!
Hard to make a guess, I've only really been into it for about 2 years. I have a friend who also likes whisky (so we can try each others) and also we have a local pub with ever changing whisky selection, so I suppose it could be somewhere in the region of 50-60, maybe more.
I mostly go for single malts, but there is nothing wrong with many blends. I think in general they aim for a whisky that is smooth, consistent and easy drinking (at a reasonable price), whereas the malts can be more varied whether it be peaty, smokey, fruity, delicate etc. It's the variety that I really enjoy about it, but the most important thing is to drink something you like. Some people will have a fit at the mention of a blend but I think they just need to get over themselves.
I've had a tiny sip of Johnnie Black, which was good and my friend likes the Double Black. I also love American whiskey, bourbon is delicious and so easy to drink, rye more spicy.
I think my favourite so far is a Highland Park 21y I got to try, but the price of a bottle would be a bit excessive.
Best for value (by which I mean price:goodness) out of bottles I've actually bought I would have to say Aberlour A'bunadh.
Yamazaki 12y and also their Distillers Reserve, really enjoyed those as well, so soft and smooth, goes down easy with no alcohol burn. Almost dangerously easy to drink
From my friends' collection the Ardbeg Uigedail and Stagg Jr. Bourbon were my faves.
Currently working my way through some Fighting Cock Kentucky Bourbon and some Laphroaig Quarter Cask - really enjoying both of those as well. Rittenhouse Rye is tasty too, hoping to get a bottle at some point.

I had parcel left at front door in rain yesterday and my last parcel was out for delivery all day until 4pm when I got a "sorry we wont be able to deliver today after all" email, after staying in all day!

Amazon deliver 7 days a week including bank holidays. I think the only days they don't deliver are Christmas Day and Boxing Day. I've noticed this for over 2 years with my deliveries.

Yep, totally normal practice for Amazon these days, I have had lots delivered on Sundays. You have to remember that unlike most other retailers, they have their own courier network and hence are not bound by when Royal Mail (or another courier) deliver.
To be fair I have to say i find Amazon spot on for deliveries, their estimates are always accurate and when they say it's out for delivery you can be sure it will arrive on that day. Another nice touch, for small items that go through the letterbox I even get an email letting me know the item has been posted through the letterbox.....
In terms of delivery and after sales support, other companies could learn a lot from them.

We haven't specified a safe place as we don't have any I'd consider safe, no shed or garage etc so I assumed if I wasn't in he would leave with neighbour but he didn't. He sent email saying left in safe place, front porch. I don't have a front porch  We also got card through door which said, left behind plant. Wondering what would have happened if it was stolen, luckily it was ok.

24 Jan 16#1049
Did they tick the box on the card saying it had been left in your 'safe place'?
Not sure if it's standard or not, but I've had a few deliveries by 'Amazon Logistics' left in my garden etc with no card through the door to tell me, but have had an email.

24 Jan 16#1048
Yeah my last 2 deliveries were Sundays so be aware that it's now a normal day and watch out for your parcel. My parcel was left at my front door yesterday, he'd tried to hide it behind a plant but everyone walking past could clearly see it as my door is 5 feet from the bloody pavement! It was a hard drive and it was pouring rain all over the cardboard box and a big slug was happily sliding along it!

If Amazon (or any other corporation) broke the law then the government/HMRC should sue for all outstanding tax plus penalties. Do you see this happening? No. Moral issue aside, no tax laws were broken.
The tax code is complex. It should be scrapped and the same flat rate applied to everyone. Oh but churches, charities, etc should be excluded. This is how it became complicated - everyone feels entitled to exclusions. No, just make everyone pay the same flat rate. Simple.
I know, I'm an idealist. Let me dream

Good for you, sticking to your principles.
So I presume your life is a barren wasteland when it comes to buying any of the things you need, as you investigate and delve into the accounts and shareholder reports of every single chain shop, supermarket, conglomerate and e-tailer and find questionable practices in EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Either that, or you get ALL your food & drink, clothing, electronics, furniture, music & entertainment, tools, and any form of personal transport you might use from the family owned local cornershop. Oh, and all the electricity, phone and internet connectivity and utilities, too. Right?
But WAIT! What about banks? They're the biggest #@&%s going! Try and find me ONE banking corporation that doesn't engage in underhand, shady or dodgy practices, from they way they treat customers to what they invest in, to laundering crime syndicate money, to their insane internal pay structure and generally their scummy, hypocritical, greedy, world-economy-destroying, sociopathic operating ways. So you must clearly use a matress as your bank then, yes?

....but the saving is £10
.....I could save 50% on something at 10p but (and may be it's my decadent western ways ) but I would not get too excited over the saving of 5p.

Amazon Prime membership & cloud security.
"Yes. I was waiting for that "Prime isn't just next day delivery" line Amazon have conditioned you into thinking."
A tad condescending.
Sounds like you have a problem with amazon.
and perhaps you 'know the score' already but-
The 'Jennifer Lawrence hack' was a phishing problem that was with apple's "iCloud" this sort of thing happens everyday unfortunately, especially with Paypal & banks.
Everyone needs to ignore e-mails or phone calls asking to reset passwords etc.
Usually the other main problem is 'weak' passwords and same/similar passwords for different sites.
I use 'msecure' which encrypts the data (blowfish 128bit) & generates very strong passwords for you i.e.: S7r9AX4jqb or aWsUQds794
Instead of popular password like: 123456 & starwars
I hardly ever watch TV I can't get landline broadband where i live (too far from exchange) I get 40mb download 4g EE double speed wifi, so very lucky no buffering.
Do you live in the countryside? Is that why your internet is slow?
As I said I'm also lucky to still have four recommends who use amazon's free delivery a lot, I don't ask them for money for this, just a nice gift. (amazon have now changed this for any new members)
This (now expired) 'deal':
I agree though that these 'deals' do get everyone buying items they don't really need, which is silly.
I bought 3 x 5 litres of engine oil which should always come in handy looking to the future.

I got a predictable sense of despair at the human race.....you?
Nothing I'm not giving 40 quid to a company that thinks it only has to pay Belgian tax despite operating in the UK. That's essentially fraud. And no I don't read the Daily Mail - too late.
Well, certainly public sentiment and the heightened agenda of profit-shifting will have been a significant factor influencing the change. Be careful with the term "evasion", though, as that implies illegality, which there's no indication was present here, to my knowledge. There is also a view - as supported by court judgements - that so long as a practice is within the law, there's no reason why any taxpayer should arrange their affairs in such a way as to result in any larger a tax liability than required by law.
After all, if you personally were given the choice of paying, say, £1,000 or £10,000 of tax, what would you choose?

23 Jan 161#1024

Sadly , after trawling through all the comments I have reached the following conclusions .
HUKD Lemmings are alive and well - Hoorah
When T&Cs are clearly stated , said Lemmings still ask - can I use it for gift cards ?, can I use it on digital ? , It doesn't work for me ( err not Amazon - expedited by Amazon - or Market place seller ) etc etc ! Sadly HUKD members are not coming out in the best of lights -yet again :disappointed:
Its a good code ,if you want something , and it hasn't shot up in price - Please check !
Looking through Amazon and the Camels ( on and off all day ) its a gigantic con probably aimed at the HUKD sheep
Still if you are happy that's all that counts  Only just a deal certainly not a megathousand deal .
Still trying to get my basket up to £50 worth of goods that aren't cheaper elsewhere or haven't been inflated by Amazon in the last few days .

Oh yes, one other point to note as I've seen a couple of mentions of this over the course of the day - while I suspect that Amazon wouldprobably not follow through with it, those thinking of adding pre-orders with the intention to cancel those once their desired items ship should bear in mind that the promotion T&Cs specify that if a cancellation or return leads to the resulting order falling below £50, you'd be liable for an additional £10 charge due to the promotion no longer applying:
------------------ 3. If the Offer is subject to a Minimum Purchase requirement:
(i) if you remove Qualifying Items from your Basket, so that the combined purchase value of the remaining Qualifying Items at checkout falls below the Minimum Purchase requirement, the Offer will cease to apply;
(ii) if you cancel your order for a Qualifying Item (so that the combined purchase value of the remaining Qualifying Items falls below the Minimum Purchase requirement) or a Promotional Item, the Offer will cease to apply; and
(iii) if you return a Qualifying Item (so that the combined purchase value of the Qualifying Items you retain falls below the Minimum Purchase requirement) or a Promotional Item, Amazon reserves the right to charge you (using the payment method you used for the original order and without further notice) for the discount or the Promotional Item you received as part of the Offer.

Haven't looked back at the Millets 20% off or the Craghoppers 12% off + free postage deals - probably a heat of 20 still .
A good illustration of look at the deal before voting - You don't have to be a Lemming just because you are a member of HUKD (although it does appear to be compulsory :disappointed: )

Yes. I was waiting for that "Prime isn't just next day delivery" line Amazon have conditioned you into thinking. Personally I'm not interested in trashy, buffering streaming TV. Got enough with Freeview thanks and don't have the time to sit around watching endless serials. I wouldn't entrust my photos to the cloud thanks - it's been proven to be a pretty bad idea. Ask Jennifer Lawrence.
Here's the fact of this 'deal'. You have to spend at least £50 to save anything. Yes that's right - you need to spend money first. And the vast majority of lemmings voting for this deal will be scrabbling around to spend £40 when they never actually intended to in the first place. You could say "how could you possibly know that"...but come on...please let's be realistic about this - it's more than likely the truth. Knowing that - and knowing the absolute fact of life that "it's not a deal unless you were intending to buy it anyway" : this is a poor deal. At best, £10 off something is mediocre - I posted a deal today that saves people £60.
Also on the fundamental postage - you cannot escape the ultimate truth that you are paying for "free" delivery. Let me run that by you again...you're paying for free delivery. Not exactly sounding like a great reason for signing up to Prime - which no, I'm not, and I barely even touch Amazon anyway. I think I've bought about 3 items off there in the past 15 years - only then because I was impatient and couldn't source them from a decent company.

Google have been caught today for £130 million (a drop in the ocean) -Amazon next ?
On the deal - Trespass jacket (says sold by Amazon ) - wouldn't accept the code - so bought the same jacket off EBay for £13 less with free P&P - Err Trespass Outlet so not a knock off . Maybe all the HUKD hot voting sheep would like to review their purchases and consider how much cheaper they would have got them had they shopped around (even with the £10 off ) .
I still have £150 of voucher credit left after the Nationwide deal last month , but to be honest I'd only spend it on technical stuff - sd cards , SSDs etc as Amazon are good for returns . Apart from the occasional "Lightening Deal" Amazon are rarely the best deal to be had .
Sorry to those HUKD sheep who worship the God that is Amazon , its a fact , Google a few prices if you don't believe me . Yes returns are great - but prices definitely not (even with £10 off)
I love spending money but after a month and £10 off £50 spend I still cant find anything to spend my £150 of vouchers on . Maybe I'm just not stupid enough

I'm getting 60fps on Fallout 4, with the occasional drops to 55 in places like Corvega and Diamond city, this took a load of arsing about with the settings tho, and it looks good but I'm far from having the eye candy cranked. On my r9 290 I was seeing frames drop down to 40s, late 30s on lowest settings, not an AMD friendly game at all. I personally find anything below 60 to be jarring, which is kind of a curse.

I've never been much of a conspiracy nutcase, but deals like these make me very skeptical about the authenticity of popularity vote sites like this. You have a deal that literally only gives you £10 with the heavy caveat of having to spend at least £50 of junk (i.e. 4000 plastic cups) and it gets voted to 8000 degrees celcuis. There are some major shilling going on around here, I wonder what's their hourly rate from amazon? Or maybe they get paid per vote and positive comment left here.

22 Jan 16#826
I think it's probably an automated system. As people buy the same items, the stock goes down and the price goes up (to increase their margin). Inversely if a competitor lowers their price on a popular item Amazon automatically price match. It's actually quite anti competitive behaviour but it's all supply and demand.

I think you must have been extremely lucky! I have tried on two chat sessions and two phonecalls and they won't budge for me. I have spent a lot with them too, well over £200 since Christmas.
Do Amazon have any kind of complaints/customer retention department? Maybe that would yield more of a result.
I feel a bit mean moaning about a £10 off deal but it is very annoying when you can't find anything you want to buy. if it ran for say a week would be much better and wouldn't cost them that much more since it's only one per customer anyway.....

Well, I got the £10 off albeit in a roundabout way. While they wouldn't simply apply £10 to my account as I wanted, I was able to get them to apply it to an item I had on back order, which hadn't come in yet. The item was 2 x Toshiba H200 1TB High Performance Hybrid Drive, which was featured on HUKD some time ago. Thing is if they don't come in stock (quite possible as they have been out of stock a long time I believe) do I lose the discount or would I get it credited back to my account?
Thinking (since the discount I have probably relies on my items coming in) of being a bit cheeky and buying something else before midnight and applying the voucher to that too so i will at least hopefully get it one way or the other. Do you think they actually will have bothered to mark the voucher as used on my account or just applied a generic discount to my existing order?

Great deal, thanks. Heat added.
Took a while searching around for things I want and making it worth it, after a good while finally placed order. About an hour later I realised I had totally forgot to put in the code so cancelled order and just placed again
Anyway, I had a £50 gift code to use as well from BGas so all in all I've bought a book, 5 DVD's, a can opener and a waste paper basket (both things I actually need and not just randomly shoved in my basket!) all for £0 with just over £6 still on my gift card. Nice.

BTX was around for a year or so - was meant to be the future, until it got canned! it's really the same as ATX only mirrored/reversed for where the connectivity bits are and the B stands for Balanced for where the air flow is meant to be relative to the components.
I would say buy a cheap 4K TV now - and wait for things to mature. Just make sure it has HDMI 2.0 and HDCP to cover you.
The problem is content, and you can't go via PC for 4K netflix or amazon etc.
4K gaming - forget about it for now wait for Pascal, unless you are really willing to spend £1800+ for not even 60fps.
What's the fps you getting for fallout 4?
Feel free to suggest me a case or two, especially if it's at a decent price at Amazon ;-)

20 per cent off if you spend 50 quid? Ok, that's fine, but nothing unusual today to get 20% off. I've got 3 Waitrose vouchers today, each is spend £30 get £6 off (so, 20%). I always need shopping, but randomly spend 50 quid on amazon, no. If you need something on amazon, then ok fine, but a massive hot deal? Nah. Not at all.
I will say the best thing about amazon is returning stuff free. Well, that's how it works recently - bought expensive book, it was absolute crap, banged corners etc. Returned and refunded immediately, so 10/10 there.
But again, this a red hot deal? And just the measly one day? NO WAY. A hot deal this is not. A reasonable deal, yes!

Interesting, I've never heard of BTX form factor in all my years. If you like the Enthoo Evolv it comes in ATX and ITX as well as mATX. So many nice cases out there now tho, I had a hard time choosing.
I often walk into John Lewis to drool on the 4K TVs, they look like windows. Love to have the spare money to drive 4k gaming right now.
Actually feeling kind of guilty right now finding these components, I'm 80 hours into Fallout 4, feel like I should be roaming around post-apocalyptic Boston bailing out kidnapped settlers.

Love it!
I am still using a Dell XPS 420 bought via a MikeT Dell Deal on HUKD - 8 years ago now! Ramped it up with a few upgrades each year.
Recently, i.e. this month, I've updatede the GPU to a GTX 950 2GB from an 8800 GT 512MB to keep it going, it now does 4K video perfectly, from previously stuttering badly. That's probably the last upgrade I do on it. There is a CPU BSEL mod on the Q660 to take it to 3GHz from 2.4 - plan to do that next week. The problem is the case, although fantastic, is a BTX based case, so ATX won't fit. So keeping my eye out for one and a PSU. I figure prices for these don't go down. So could stock up on those while I wait - maybe next year for a full build. And you are right, going to wait for the PASCAL gen to come in before I attempt a full build.
I got a Hisense 40 inch 4K monitor, which is great for running 4K directly, works perfectly. It does make the icons mega small, so 1920x1080p actually makes more sense for normal usage. Fallout 4 is looking good at 1080p about 45 fps.

This will make them a ton of commission so therefore it doesn't matter if it's just a code, they're taking the money and running! Your codes you post will just take up space that deals which earn them their money could be occupying, that's the difference.
The 'HUKD Pick' is the equivalent of spam, shoving deals in your face that they want you to buy, as it's a guaranteed sale, or has high commission for them.
We already have the hottest 10 deals of the day, they could just make another top 10 list for the HUKD picks, it's annoying because I see the same deals over and over and I have to fight to see past them to see what the new deals are that I might have missed.

I got an Enthoo Evolv matx case for xmas that is sitting here bare, some people say it's ugly but I love it. My current ATX case is about 9 years old, cant wait to move to the smaller mATX!
And I currently have a GTX 670 installed (and an R9 290 spare), I think I'm going to hold out for the new Pascal architecture from Nvidia before I upgrade, unless I see some tempting prices on a 980Ti, new or used.
I've already got a decent PSU so I'll hold onto that.
Desperate for a new monitor tho, I'm still rocking 1680x1050 on my 8 year old NEC 20WGX2 monitor (but I still love it). Got a projector for 1080p but I want an Ultra-Wide 144mhz IPS with G-sync NOW!

- Search eg printer
- On the left scroll down to "Seller" and select "Amazon.co.uk"
(you may need to click on "+ See more")
- Now only printers "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon" are listed
You may need to click on one of the "Departments" first (top left) for the "Seller" list to show.
If Amazon does not sell this item then "Amazon.co.uk" will be missing from the "Seller" list.
Really Amazon should make this simpler.

22 Jan 162#601
I reckon Amazon are going to make a fair bit on Fire tablets and Prime memberships from this deal....a great way for people to spend in January after the Christmas/Sale extravangance! Speaking as someone who does have a tendency to buy into excitement, I would always suggest taking a breath, copying and pasting your item title into google before buying and seeing if it is an amazing bargain somewhere else apart from Amazon.
digitaltoast
22 Jan 16#600
When the title says "includes Amazon Warehouse", that's not what I've found. In fact the T&C at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201622460 specifically say
"The Offer does not apply to purchases made from Amazon’s Warehouse Deals or from third-party sellers on Amazon Marketplace."
My basket is a mix of normal and warehouse deals, comes to £52, and every single item says
"Sold by: Amazon EU S.a.r.L."
and it's not accepting the code.
So, I'd say warehouse=probably not.
It's a shame there isn't a "show only items sold by Amazon" filter on the main site.

ST3123
22 Jan 161#590
Was quite excited at first but now feeling quite meh about it as, as people have noted prices have typically been hiked and the few 'ok' deals seem to have sold out e.g. I wanted some playstation store credit, but now when I look the only ones available are more than £5 over RRP, no thanks! I also wanted a kindle but sure enough the price of the paperwhite is a rip off tastic £110, no chance!
Hate dirty tactics like price hiking which makes the whole promotion meaningless.
Are there any worthwhile deals out there to use with this £10 off?

the problem is for every smart person like you there are 5 idiots. They look at the RRP and Amazon's 'discount' and think they've got a bargain. What they don't know is that the 'discounted' price is the price that it's either been for the past 6 months or a price that has suddenly gone up in the past few days. But since it's cheaper than the stupid RRP, they think they've saved money. I think something needs to be done to regulate ridiculous RRP's because when a 'discounted' price has been used for 6 months, the RRP shouldn't be allowed to be used as the discounted price should now be the new RRP. It's just misleading.

I've heard others say similar so your experience isn't the one we all get I'm afraid.
Not sure if it's standard or not, but I've had a few deliveries by 'Amazon Logistics' left in my garden etc with no card through the door to tell me, but have had an email.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/11356940/Amazon-says-Sunday-deliveries-have-quadrupled.html
Haha, just kidding. It's been said before though, so maybe...
I just love trying as many different ones as I can, but hate the high unit price of miniatures, so I have to wait until I finish a bottle. This takes months. One has been open over a year. It will take several years to get through what I have, but prices just seem to go up, so I keep buying when I see a good deal. Hey-ho, first world problems
True story.
Yeah, makes perfect sense, since whisky has such a short shelf life and spoils after just a few... wait a minute! Are you insane?
Trouble is I have eyes bigger than my stomach and it takes me ages to get through whisky!
Just spotted glenfarclas 105 at what will be £34, we have a winner. Need some batteries anyway.
Why all the excitement? Or am I missing something.
Some people.
....but the saving is £10
.....I could save 50% on something at 10p but (and may be it's my decadent western ways ) but I would not get too excited over the saving of 5p.

"This item was sent to me for naff all, as I am a shameless shill who will 5 star any free stuff you send me...."
Is getting worryingly pervasive. All of the 'top amazon reviewers' are just banging out 5* for any free stuff they get sent. The more reviews they do, the more free tat they get sent. It's incentivising biased and pandering reviews.
There was a problem
The promotional code you entered is not valid.
when entering the code
most of the items cheaper elsewhere and the reviews are not genuine in Amazon anymore
Then going to checkout and clicking "buy now", somehow it didn't go through the first time around... trying again and re-selecting free delivery, it's gone through and I seem to have a negative overall postage charge. Not that I'm complaining, of course!

Found an iron maiden 7 inch to push it over £50 in the end
They have running free/burning ambition for £1.75 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Running-Free-Burning-Ambition-Vinyl-y/dp/B00LD22MN2/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1453501551&sr=8-2&keywords=iron+maiden+7

Think I need a replacement now though - maybe a 14" laptop. Where is Mike T these days?
...unless you're making a statement on the poster's tumescence. In which case, probably true. Harsh, but true.

Who gives a flying frick about Amazon paying their correct taxes when we can all get a free £10?
What's the ardbed perpetuam like? I just saw the 25yr old glenfarclas for £86 looks tempting too.
Done! Feeling great now
They divide the £10 discount proportionately so if you ordered 3 items £50 worth ( £20, £20, £10), the price of the items will amend to £16, £16, £8.
Anybody else get the glitch?
So have preordered both & got them for £28.98 each
Looking forward to trying them both tomorrow.
Buy yourself some storage solutions for all your things you don't need lol.
Now to go see if I can do the same as everyone else and spend some money to save a £10!
You can get 10 nothings for £40 using this code

BUT I need to 2 other things and cannot find any to comply towards to the £50 limit, even though adding various types they are not included in the deal.
I need a compatible:
2. case to fit it in
3. suitable 5v 2000mA Micro usb Charger
Can any one assist? I don't want to buy a kit as I already have spare micro sd card and cables.
OOPs just realized the usb wifi dongle is also not part of the deal !!! so need one of those too - needs to work with the latest raspberry operating system to run xmbc.
I know I'll need to buy something else from amazon within the next few days but I can't think what it might be now.
Very frustrating.
I contacted Amazon and asked if they could refund me the £10 to save me returning one of the items for a refund and then reordering again and they said no,but they would send me a free returns label so I could send one of the items back and then order it again with the £10 off code.Seems a bit of a waste of everyone's time if you ask me.

As for cases, some others I like are:
NZXT Phantom 410
Fractal Design R5
Corsair Graphite Series
Cooltek UMX1 Plus
Inwin 901
Pandora Core Micro-ATX * almost bought this one
Spent about £700 on components so far tonight...getting carried away... drinking and shopping don't mix well

Subtotal: £53.06
Savings: £100.23 (RRP of all items: £153.29)
Voucher: -£10.00
GRAND TOTAL: £43.06
Overall, I'm pretty happy with this little lot. The Micro SDHC card will be perfect for my new Linx tablet from the recent Sainsbury's deal, my ink is running low, I need some new but decent pens, I lost my portable phone charger recently so wanted a new one. And the chocolate, is just a little treat!
Thanks for posting OP!
Also if the pre-order dropped in price would that come back as a refund to me?
I'm proud of how easily pleased we HUKDers are!!!
Give away 20%.
Amazon profit 13%.
Good deal. As long as you check price history
so we all win win win heat added
I just phoned their customer service, and mentioned the code. They offered me £10 gift voucher, or £10 in my account. This was because I have spent over £50 in recent items that could be returned.
Phone call lasted less than 3 minutes
Do Amazon have any kind of complaints/customer retention department? Maybe that would yield more of a result.
I feel a bit mean moaning about a £10 off deal but it is very annoying when you can't find anything you want to buy. if it ran for say a week would be much better and wouldn't cost them that much more since it's only one per customer anyway.....
Be gone with you!
Nice.
Thanks to this deal I have now also purchased the same model monitor but in 27" for a tri-display setup that I literally have no need for.
Thanks, Obama.
"Mine arrived" 8 years, 3 days ago. Talk about living by HUKD. Where would we be without our HUKD fix?
Joking aside, hope you find what you're after.
The Labgear LDU608G is £60 everywhere so the Amazon price of £48.49 was already great - at £38.49 it's a hot bargain.
Thanks OP.
.... and buy nothing
Now, that's a really good deal
Even at 7400+ degrees, you're not obliged to buy anything you know
I often walk into John Lewis to drool on the 4K TVs, they look like windows. Love to have the spare money to drive 4k gaming right now.
Actually feeling kind of guilty right now finding these components, I'm 80 hours into Fallout 4, feel like I should be roaming around post-apocalyptic Boston bailing out kidnapped settlers.
Assassin's Creed Syndicate - Rooks Edition (£39.99) + The Crew (£12) - £10 voucher = £41.99
Seems like a good deal to me
And I currently have a GTX 670 installed (and an R9 290 spare), I think I'm going to hold out for the new Pascal architecture from Nvidia before I upgrade, unless I see some tempting prices on a 980Ti, new or used.
I've already got a decent PSU so I'll hold onto that.
Desperate for a new monitor tho, I'm still rocking 1680x1050 on my 8 year old NEC 20WGX2 monitor (but I still love it). Got a projector for 1080p but I want an Ultra-Wide 144mhz IPS with G-sync NOW!
would have been better even at 40 pound spend rather than 50.
(not a full build) http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/4ssQXL
Some components are more than £10 pricier on Amazon, won't be buying those. I'm going to get everyone in my house to buy me a component
Plus animals? ;-)
Happy with that.
Its alcohol thread
£56 delivered ...is that good ?
Works out £25 each , great deal
Update: above deal now spammed for some reason. And I was wrong, there are other deals with higher heat, eg: 14078, 13292, 12071, 11562. etc.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003FBPLSW
The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.
Not to be dumb but what exactly does it mean dispatched and sold from Amazon? Can't really tell which of my items are not?
http://www.fillerchecker.co.uk/
Its amazing the psychology of the human mind huh!
Bitumen was £10 cheaper than local DIY store for same thing, total was £51.90 = £41.90 = £20 saved = winner!
Thanks OP!
NOW my belief's being stretched.
...Amazon's message to the UK HMRC...
The 2nd hottest deal of all time on HUKD in under 17 hours
Update: I'm wrong - I missed expired deals, some of which have had higher heat, eg: 14078, 13292, 12071, 11562, etc.
Cold :disappointed:
Here's another 1p sim that worked: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Vodafone-Dual-Standard-Micro-Adapters/dp/B00Q2ASP4K/ref=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1453480726&sr=8-1&keywords=sim+card
"There was a problem - The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase."
Any ideas?
Bought car camera for £68 !
http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GRYT5QI
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-Momentum-1-0-On-Ear-Headphones-Pink/dp/B00D77U5US
Considering reviews were positive even at a price of £170, and ebay still lists the item for circa €90-130 I imagine even after buying and deciding you don't want the phones, you probably won't make a loss reselling it.
Sorry but it's items sold by and dispatched by Amazon only! :stuck_out_tongue:
Genius marketing.
Heat added
I've just bought a warehouse open box item and an infinity set for my son for £55.87 and it reduced it by £10....
Thanks for sharing. Heat added.
It's a shame there isn't a "show only items sold by Amazon" filter on the main site.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Julian-Bowen-Poppy-Double-Antique/dp/B00JY4AGUM/ref=sr_1_1?s=kitchen&rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1453471713&sr=1-1&keywords=double+bed
Hate dirty tactics like price hiking which makes the whole promotion meaningless.
Are there any worthwhile deals out there to use with this £10 off?
I just went in and cancelled a £60 item in my order and re-ordered it with the code.
First time Amazon have actually not been helpful at all :/
Kodi runs absolutely brill on a pi2 and the chances are you can use your TV remote, next you'll be telling us you need a 300bhp car to travel at 30mph in a traffic jam :stuck_out_tongue:
I can only add the card version, which is £5 more expensive to the basket.
Been on to chat and they trying to escalate further, but no chance of it being an option before this offer ends. Gutted.
Can't even add 4 3 month cards to the basket.
Here at Base.com, only £10.99 http://www.base.com/buy/product/american-ninja-1-4-blu-ray-boxset/dgc-88fb118.htm
Im sure you would beat most of these prices if you shopped around.
Mass hysteria seems to work for Amazon imo. Must ask them how to avoid my tax bill as well when I next place my order. That should save me even more!.
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/asus-rt-ac87u-ac2400-dual-band-wireless-router-116-99-delivered-amazon-lightning-2338330?p=27173384
I had already ordered the router yesterday for £116.99. Then when I saw the £10 off £50 or more spend I got onto chat with them again and they refunded £10 so it cost me £107.
Amazon search
Amazon hick the prices up then give you £10 off
IE the Fire tablet was 39.99 last week, oh look its now £49.99 and £10 discount off.
Do they think we are all muppets!!
cold from me
Happy to help.
The £10 worked out a bit over 18% off
And factoring in my 25% saving from the recent Simply Rewards by Nationwide deal on my gift balance... I paid just over £23 for the controller and just over £10 for the play & charge kit
*to work this out I used maths!
