First post so see how this goes!
Passing boots earlier and they're doing 3 for 2 on the Yankee candle range, all sizes and also gift sets etc.
Checked online and on there as well!
Thought it was a decent deal, and the missus buys these regularly and she didn't seem to peeved when I came home with 3!!!

So you did, can't understand that at all! Very strange, maybe people have now been paid so it's all of a sudden a good deal

I think the issue here is that tesco only have a few large Xmas candles where boots have pretty much the whole range of smells. But for 3 large at boots it's £44 and at tesco it's £18. No brainer for me. Heat to both deals, Xmas candles on the way! :sunglasses:

The Yankee simply home range is the same thing as the regular range as far as I'm aware in terms of smell and lasting power etc. It's just that the colour of the wax is more neutral (like white, red, blue) to blend more into a home setting and the fragrances are much less interesting like plain vanilla, plain Apple, cotton and such.
I can't remember if they're the same size as a medium Yankee jar but I think they are, except maybe about 15g smaller. The Yankee illuma-lids also don't fit on them.
Most of them are exactly the same as their Yankee equivalent though like a simply one called baked treats would be exactly the same as a Yankee one called Winter cookie or whatever. They're just slightly altered and Yankee have much more obscure and advanced fragrances like Kilimanjaro stars.

In regards to voting on this site, I've come to the conclusion that it mainly depends sometimes on the time the deal was posted. Certain times of the day you got the trolls who simply vote cold instantly regardless, and then other times of the day (if its a good deal of course) you get the people who genuinely vote hot or cold.
Anyway, this is an okay deal. I'm just a little miffed that the prices increased vs last year (£19.99), but of course we cant get a time machine for that can we now

After seeing how cheap they are in Yankee States of America, and buying a lot, I will never pay £20 for a lump of wax again no matter how nice they smell. Great deal here though in terms of pricing.
