Is this a misprice? They are charging £35 more from the China warehouse with all the drawbacks ordering from there entails. Guaranteed no customs and fast delivery from the eu warehouse. Potential downside is limited 4G, I guess?

Don't buy anything from this place. Ordered a tablet on the 16/11/15, payment taken on 16/11/15 its now 05/12/15 and the order is still just sat at "processing". I have contacted them and they say they don't actually have the item in stock, i asked to change to a different tablet, they said no and closed my case. They now won't respond to emails. Avoid at all costs.

Sorry to hear that but from my own experience 8 items ordered over the last 6 months and not one problem with exception of slow-ish delivery (all ordered from China warehousewhereas this is the eu warehouse so should be quicker). And I've always orered by paypal just in case.

I never paid for express shipping and waited 5weeks for delivery. Still came and absolutely love my phone. Every time I mailed for help they responded.
If you buy from China, you expect a long delivery unless you pay for it.

I have the same problem at the moment with them, though have had good service in the past. Now gone to a Paypal claim as no response from them.
Having said that, thing from the UK warehouse tend to be delivered promptly and can be price significantly cheaper than the China/HK warehouses on occasion.

You have missed the point. A lot of orders do go through OK. The problem with Gearbest is when they don't. At that point you get ignored and don't get a refund without resorting to Paypal and sometimes even with Paypal you can be unsuccessful. I hope you continue to be lucky.

Ordered items from eu warehouse on two occasions and both times delivered within 2-3 working days from order date. I would happily order again from them. I haven't tried ordering anything from China though.

I paid for British express (£1.80) on my last china warehouse phone and it was delivered within 5 days of ordering (Ordered Saturday came Thursday). It came by Yodel. Brilliant delivery time considering it came that far. Never had problems in the few times i used them.

have you ever had to try getting something fixed? Forget it.
I'm not saying don't use them for cheap stuff, but just accept that if the item you buy fails then you just have to bin it. Their support is pretty much non existent.

Be careful with Gearbest, they take orders and money for items they do not have in stock and expect you to wait. When you submit a ticket they are slow to respond and if you keep asking for updates or a refund they start to ignore you. My item Redmi note 2 at the time had a dispatch time of 3 days, it took them 20 days to dispatch. After 14 days I asked them several times for a refund which they ignored until they shipped 7 days later. Have found a better service at banggood.

Good price and great phone but I would seriously consider spend extra for mi4c. Don't get me wrong, I own my mi4i since summer and very happy with it but few extra improvements on 4c are worthy.

not a lot needs that 4g.. due to most plans for internet is 250mb-2gb.. more than enough 3g at these days in UK.

£ coverage is fine with this phone including 4G, vodafone will be the same as O2 no 4G coverage

also processor better http://versus.com/en/qualcomm-snapdragon-615-msm8939-vs-mediatek-helio-x10
Explicitly higher ram speed
933MHz vs 800MHz (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939)
It can support faster memory, which will give quicker system performance.
261
2.Sizably more CPU threads
8 vs 4 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939)
More threads result in faster performance and better multitasking.
170
3.Amply faster CPU clock speed
8 x 2.2GHz vs 8 x 1.7GHz (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939)
122
4.Uses HMP
Yes vs No (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939)
Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP) is a more advanced version of big.LITTLE technology. In this setup, a processor can utilise all cores at the same time, or just a single core for low-intensity tasks. This can provide powerful performance or increased battery life respectively.
84
5.Significantly more memory channels
2 vs 1 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939)
More memory channels increases the speed of data transfer between the memory and the CPU.
48
6.Higher version of eMMC
5 vs 4.5 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939)
A higher version of eMMC allows faster memory interfaces, having a positive effect on the performance of a device. For example, when transferring files from your computer to the internal storage over USB.

I have used this phone on Vodafone, it does get 4G but very rarely. As suggested by both OP and some posters. This phone is excellent for general use, the display and functionalities etc. are well worth the price. But, if you are hell bent on 4G - don't buy.

It's had issues in India which is where it's mainly sold hence the "i" at the end of the name. The Mi4c with the 808 chipset would be better in terms or performance (no global rom thought) the original Mi4 would also be worth considering as prices on these have dropped a lot recently. Its well supported.
