This looks like a great deal I'm trying to figure out the catch (other than the poor CPU which I can excuse on a tablet..)

The Atom CPU is not bad. Weakest part for me is the speed of the eMMC storage. But all of these Atoms based tablets are similar.
Otherwise the bezels are quite large. From reviews I've seen the keyboard is quite bouncy.
Charging is going to be slow as its via USB. But the large battery life (split between tablet and second battery in keyboard) compensate for this.
From what I've read some early units had issues charging, but was addressed in a BIOS update.
Most of these negatives are less important at this price point.

So far I have voted 1 hot deal and 3 cold deals. The deals I voted cold either went (1) hot or (2) stayed the same and the deal I voted hot went cold. Can you say "FIXED!"

I'd assume it is aggressive caching. Probably slightly less then live and a little delayed. There were issues with the site going down on Black Friday so might have been tweaked to help keep the site up.
