The Emirates Air line seems to be celebrating the sequal to the famous christmas film The Snowman.
Join The Snowman™ and The Snowdog on the Emirates Air Line
London's cable car brings you a magical flying experience this festive season, in partnership with Snowman Enterprises Ltd. Between 26 November and 4 January 2016 you can soar above the Thames in a 'flight' with The Snowman and The Snowdog.
The sequel to the classic Raymond Briggs Christmas animation, The Snowman, is beautifully complemented by a festive flight on the Emirates Air Line.
The Snowman and The Snowdog's iconic flight scene will be brought to life throughout your Emirates Air Line experience using immersive digital effects and specially edited sequences from the film, combined with aerial footage of the cable car and London's famous landmarks.
There are also a number of photo opportunities available at both terminals. Take a picture with a life-size Snowman, or on a replica ski chairlift complete with a snow machine and The Snowman and The Snowdog as the backdrop. Or snap a selfie with one of the characters from the film during your flight.
The cable car will stay open later this year so visitors can enjoy the lights of London after dark - closing at 21:00 Sunday to Thursday, and at 23:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
A limited number of free goody bags will be available for children, packed with treats to take home including a Snowman chocolate, in-flight binoculars and a Snowman or Snowdog character mask.

Ahh, the cable car from the Millennium dome over a car junk yard to the middle of nowhere. Another one of Boris Johnson's disaster projects that's costing Londoners a fortune in losses due to virtually no one using it. If you're going there just for this then I suspect you'll be disappointed. Book yourself in for the climb over the O2 or a concert there - at least that'll make the trip a bit more worthwhile.
It's such a shame they didn't put this cable car where people want to travel between. It'd be such an asset for London if better sited.
