In the visual style of the critically-acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds comes a new adventure to save a princess from an evil witch’s curse. 3 friends team up – each as Link in different colour – to cooperatively make their way through inventive dungeons and battle bosses. Use the loot you get to create wearable outfits, each with a different boost or ability.
As Link, buddy up with two other Link characters and cooperatively solve inventive puzzles to progress through the game.
All three players share hearts, so they must work together to defeat enemies and solve puzzles.
Stack three Links on top of each other with the new “Totem” mechanic, which makes it possible to reach new locations to solve puzzles.
Collect loot to create wearable outfits, each with a different boost or ability.
Single-player mode allows the player to rent two paper dolls to take along to complete the team of three and face challenges in dungeons.
Team up with two other players in multiplayer mode via local wireless connection, online and with download play.

It's the first Zelda game that I haven't finished. I tried playing online but keep getting matched up with prats who just keep throwing each other into danger or don't know how to play. Very frustrating...

Was fearing that would happen. Concept is cool, but doubt I'd purchase this game. :/

Yeah - they should have made single player more efficient.

Surely it can be completed single player with the AI or is this a frustrating experience too?

Some of the puzzles and bosses, particularly later in the game require some teamwork. I don't think the game supports any kind of voice chat which means you have to rely on these picture gestures to communicate. Cute, but totally inadequate for effective teamwork, especially when you need to move fast. Single player, I can imagine the entire game being a hateful experience.
Recently finished this game with two buddies. It was kinda fun as a non traditional Zelda. There are 8 worlds with a different theme, each has four levels and each of those have four stages lasting between 10-15 minutes each. With three of us in one room we sliced through the game. If you can find two other players, then you can game share off one cart and play the entire game.

Considering this game came out 2 months ago, I'm surprised it's dropped so much, to be honest.

Great deal though!
