Thomson flight only to Tenerife south from London gatwick for 7 nights from 30th Dec to 06th Jan. Seems like a good price given that it's new year period.

Getting self catering apartment at Playaflor Chill Out Resort, Playa de las Americas for 7 nights at £371 for 2 people. How does that sound?

Return flights from London airports to Tenerife South can be found from £42 return during January looking here
Plenty of flights out available for £20 (a few for £15 even) and flights back from £27
The flight your referring to for £129 with Thompson on 30/12/2015 - 06/05/2016 is actually £99 on Thompson's website as it includes a £30 online discount

Why's that? The South of Tenerife is a big place and I think your experience is very much dependant on your location and surroundings. We stayed in Los Christianos the first time we went at the top of a hill and were quite far away from the beach and weren't that impressed. The second time we went we had a fantastic location in Playa de Las Americas, walking distance from the beach, bars, shops and restaurants and we had a brilliant time.

P.s anymore links like that Skyscanners one?/ you mention plenty of flights for 20 odd quid or cheaper? (i'm not going to Tennerife mind) :confused:

Just use the Skyscanner main page. Put in your destination and search for the whole month and it will show you which days have the cheapest flights. The flights for £15-£20 each that I was referring to was for the outbound flights to Tenerife South from London in January but there will be loads of others like this if you look

It just wasn't my kind of holiday. Too many bars full of drunken idiots, poor food and beach was no better than I have on my own doorstep. Lots of people I know love the place, but we are all different and can't all like the same thing. I did vote hot for the deal though. Glad you enjoyed it. It was just my opinion. It's the only holiday where I wanted to go home. Horses for courses
