DuckTales: Remastered is a hand-crafted, beautiful reimagining of one of the most iconic 8-bit titles.
Go back to one of the golden ages of gaming, but now refined with a level of detail that will please the most hardened Disney or retro Capcom fan. Featuring hand-drawn animated sprites, original Disney character voices talent and richly painted level backgrounds from the classic cartoon TV series, Scrooge McDuck and family come to life like never before.
The gameplay retains the authenticity of its 8-bit predecessor, simple and fun, with slight modifications to improve gameplay flow and design. Embark on an authentic DuckTales adventure, as Scrooge McDuck and his three nephews, Huey, Dewey and Louie travel to exotic locations throughout the world in their quest to retrieve the five Legendary Treasures.

Apologies for that, I didn't even realise when I grabbed it from their site. I've switched it now

Is this in the same vein as Mickey Mouse's Castle of Illusion? Because that was an incredible remaster!

Mickey Mouse Castle of Illusion on 8 bit Sega Master System was a top game. Donald Duck's Lucky Dime Caper on same console was also cracking. Both under rated games IMHO and probably better than Duck Tales (but I do love Duck Tales also!).

Add QuackShot and World of Illusion of MegaDrive to that list. All those games are way better than DuckTales. Take away the amazing theme tune and u have a very average game tbf, especially the remaster...

I'm not going to beat around the bush here, I've given heat mainly for the 'Woo-oo'.
So should you.

I've had this for some time on Wii U. Don't get me wrong it's a good laugh, but the best bit is definitely the 'Woo-oo'
PS. I took your advice.

Does it still have the freezing on the end boss problem? According to Steam reviews it does.
