Bargain price for this. Seems to be the Special Edition blu-ray which doesn't have some of the extras you get with "Ultimate Edition", but thats like triple the price. A great price nonetheless.

had my prop replica of that arrive about a week ago! great bit of film memorabilia from a great film :smile:
didn't have it on Blu ray so a no brainer at this price.

Ive got the Ultimate Edition, but i believe it is actually out of print now. So most places no longer stock it except at crazy prices. So your pretty much just limited to this Special Edition version now for buying new.

It's never a good sign when you have to ask yourself, "do I own this yet on Blu-ray?". Great deal for good film which kick-started a great sci-fi series.

The UK release may be OOP, though still readily available used (think it's £4 at CeX), the region free US release is available new from Amazon Marketplace place for £8.08 Inc delivery. "But this one is under £3", the newer releases improved the clarity of the image and fixed the brightness/contrast issues. There are plenty of blu-rays that can be had for less than £3, that don't have the problems of the "Special Edition" Stargate blu-ray.
