One of the best TVs around and far better than the 2015 models! The 2015 models have higher input lag, not good for gaming and worse contrast ratio.
"From our tests, it seems that the Sony Bravia W7 is the new W6. Featuring deep blacks, mostly accurate colours, 2.4 gamma, and above all record-breaking gaming responsiveness, the KDL-42W705 should prove to be a hit among movie and game enthusiasts who don’t need 3D. It even improves upon the popular, outgoing KDL-42W653 by offering two extra HDMI ports."

Bought the 50" version earlier this year, excellent picture quality for the money. Takes a bit of calibration but worth it. Only downside I have found is it's a little slow to start up, you get the picture right away but inputs don't register for 30 seconds or so.

Rip off, no idea why this is hot. I bought this TV with a 5 year warranty for £400 November 2014!

This is the cheapest deal around. There isn't many of these tvs being sold anymore. The new model which replaces this costs 460 pound.

Got the W8 version of this less than a year ago from John Lewis for a similar price. Brilliant TV! Had tried an equivalent Panasonic viera and it was so slow and laggy through the menu & TV guide etc.

Bought this TV earlier this year, it's quality and perfect for gaming! Not so hot on the price but if they're hard to find I'd definitely go for it. Heat added!

You won't get a deal like that anymore, sadly. Anyway, the W8 has a worst contrast ratio and input lag.
