Just came across this whilst looking for another tv. I know this was advertised 4 days ago with someone else but that's expired now and with this you can go and collect from your local store if they have stock. No need to wait in.
Good price for a 4k Sony and cheaper than Samsung UE55JU6800 & LG55UF850V
I know lots of people have complained about the Android OS but there are lots of people who haven't.

I got this a few weeks ago on Black Friday for £579.99. TV is good for the price I paid. I would not pay anymore for it though. It's just that I expected more from it. Noise levels are average and it took a long time to get picture correct. The Android update seems to have sorted the problems regarding software. My TV did not have a built in Mic. I think the smart remote has one built in. I did not get a smart remote. Worth asking Currys if it is included.

I agree I was in currys the other day looking at 4k teles and this one looked like the worse one

The Samsung 55JU6800 is vastly better. No comparison.

And yet both are 50Hz panels. 4K upscaler is vastly better on the Sony. Sorry, no comparison.

The remote in question is in the higher ranged 09 modelled tv's. You can buy the remote (if you tv is compatible) for between £30-£50 as it works on other Sony TV's, add KODI and you have a nice little set up.

Heard too many stories about these Android tv's playing up.
Better off getting an Android box for kodi and a non Android TV..Save some money.

Yep, I have to agree with the comment. I've had no problems with it, although the live sports sometimes looks like Minecraft Sports, nothing to do with the TV though.
