Great price for 2 Play 1s. Listed as £269, but tick the £10 off box for £259! Hooray.

Sorry, I must have missed where they said it was a portable speaker over a compact streaming speaker.
It isn't hard to plug it in but it is hard to have syncronised audio throughout the house and the garage. I don't know of a simpler system to do this than sonos that involved 'just plugging in a pair of speakers'....into what?

Very much doubt they'll do anything with the Play:1, its not been out long enough and the new Play:5 uses the same generation drivers that are in the 1. The Play:3 however is a great contender for a revamp (especially as 2 Play:1's paired sound better and can be had for similar money)

Great if you like overpriced speakers, no bluetooth and at 2.5kg not very portable either.
Just get yourself a nice pair of wired ones for much less, i mean is it REALLY that hard to walk over to a speaker and plug it in?

it's not just about the speaker, the whole sonos ecosystem and software just works....very reliable and that's why Sonos is the Apple of multiroom speaker systems....overpriced? probably....but like Apple the resale value is very good, just sold a previous model play 5 to upgrade to latest play 5 and sold for around 80% of price I paid.....

i think you're completely missing the point of these.

Don't be so sure. I understand the Play 1 is the newest of the line up. The Play 5 has just had a complete revamp but that was only after many years.
Most of Sonos's changes come through the software updates rather than hardware.
I think True Play has given a new lease of life to the whole range.

Offer now withdrawn, it was a glitch and shouldn't have been advertised at that price
